Is moneysavingexpert.com Safe?

Good site, but admins deleted my original account, together with everything I'd ever posted, simply because they found a website that had nothing to do with me but happened to have the same name as my account username (that's been used on other forums without any such ridiculous rules being implemented). A new username was set up but the posts never returned. Something of a gap in security because if you have a disagreement with someone else on the forum all you've got to do is register their username as a .com and put a web page on it and they're out of the door.

GONE RIGHT DOWNHILL. Just looked at two interesting offers: one is promoting the rip-off Sky Web Streaming service (billed as Sky Sports for just £6!) MEANING PER *DAY* NOT PER MONTH (normally it is billed per month, thus they are intentionally trying to get your attention by looking like it's a 5/6ths off the price deal. When it's actually 5x more expensive! Also, they were quoting un-referenced, unsustantiated customer satisfaction statistics when recommending ISP services. They used to have significant integrity. They now don't. This is what happens when a brand built on integrity is sold for cash.

The site does have useful content however users can easily be lead into thinking all viable options have been considered. The information has a bias and moderators actively silence comments on their forum where regulated advisers constructive challenge the promotion any product Martin Lewis has praised even when cheaper and superior cover is available and included so that they may reconsider the inferior product they have mentioned. It also has to be said that this is not a non profit site it was sold for £80 million due to the regular income it receives. Not all product provides pay this site so the motive for product bias is massive.
