People have very strong opinions on this subject, and it is understandably human to deny what we have never, ourselves, experienced or seen. That said, it is irresponsible to negate an any line of enquiry or rational and scientifically approached discussion of something MERELY because of one’s own lack of personal experience with said topic. Equally irresponsible would it be to denounce a website that sites/incorporates ONLY that which falls under the STRICTEST definition of "scientific data” in discussing what would be far less controversial were not the vast majority of other websites centered around the subject at hand rooted in only the LEAST scientific nonsense. Unfortunately, this website appears, at first glance, to be just another sensational, outdated and poorly organized collection of so-called “information” surrounding a set of mysterious symptoms often referred to as “Morgellons.” However, upon sticking around long enough to read a good bit of the content, one cannot deny the objective voice of the author, or the glaring lack of bizarro theories or sensationalized descriptions that populate those other sites and take away any redeeming value they might otherwise have. As someone who has visited the vast majority of websites out there on the subject (at least most of those that appear in the first 300 or so results of a Google search for “Morgellons”), I I can attest to the fact that this site stands almost alone in its denouncements of the most broadly promoted unscientific rumors (chemtrails, nanotechnology, conspiracy theories galore) surrounding its topic, and the equally unscientific deductions that no such symptoms exist - or at least that no common disease can be categorized from these particular symptoms - all using inarguably scientific concepts, methods (for the author’s own research, which upon further googling appears sound and without discredit), and well established scientific evidence as documented in only the most widely accepted medical and scientific journals. BOTTOM LINE: this website is heavy on substance, but not many will ever get past the site's unfortunate style to find this out.
