The crookedest site on the internet. The owners have been arrested. Let's have a gander at THEIR mugshots! *****

The owners of this extortion scam have been arrested, so should feature in their own site. QUOTE "the attorney general of California brought criminal charges against not only Saried and Keesee, but also Kishore Vidya Bhavnanie and David Usdan. The quartet has been charged with extortion, money laundering, and identity theft." *****

Website is publishing incriminating information/photos about people in exchange for pay offs in order to remove the information. I could be wrong, but this seems to be blackmail and may be illegal.

Garbage. This site is garbage. Run from offshore. No physical address. No owner. Sketchy. Essentially blackmail or extortion. Should be hunted down and prosecuted.

This website is hosted offshore, and has moved several times, because its activities are illegal in the US. Essentially it scrapes mugshots and arrest information from other websites, and then charges hundreds of dollars to consumers to have that information removed. These people scammed my friend, who was falsely arrested for walking through a protest area, which was his only way to get to work. Even after a judge cleared him of wrongdoing, paying this site to remove the information only resulted in extra sites popping up with his mugshot. They steal money and shame unconvicted people. Avoid!

This sort of service is blackmail and unethical.

The given information on this site is often incorrect and slanderous. Many people of whom a mugshot have been taken in the past, have never been convicted. ***** publishes the mugshots without checking whether people are really guilty or not. When informed that someone is not guilty, mugshots.com does not remove the erroneous information. Only after payment mugshots.com does remove the erroneous information.

Posts mugshots regardless of whether charges are found groundless, dismissed, expunged, etc. Demands payment for information to be taken down despite this lack validity. Buys search return placement from Google*. Basically extortion via exploiting the freedom of information act: out only for a quick buck, not ""public service" *people's names from site will be top result when searched for. Done so they see it and pay to take it down. Even if paid, these sites sell people's information to other sites like it so the information never goes away.

While there may be a person with a said name that may have actually been "accused" of a crime somewhere in the world; This site unfortunately does not take into consideration that there may be others, "dozens if not hundreds" of people with a similar or even same name. Thus this website slanders and damages the reputation of thousands if not millions of innocent people when a prospective employer or associate does a google or other web search on a name... I'd say this site is immature and irresponsible at best, and a "reputation management" extortion scheme at worst.
9
This is a non official side of mugshots collected by private "witch-hunters" good for shammers and lurkers *uhmmm

Part of the name and shame mugshot extortion ring popular in Florida. Publish mugshots under the banner of 'freedom of information' (including people found not guilty, minors, others). Obviously just wanting to serve their community and help those around them. But wait, what's that? They also run a de-mugshot service that exists solely to suck money out of people already run through the wringer of the justice system? Only starts at $399? This is ethically bankrupt, basically shaking down people to remove information already published by your own company.
