We have a perfect record as far as we know when it comes to satisfying customers. Please search on reviews of MyEvent.com. We will address your points below. Look, I do not want to enter the merit of your fund-raising activity. The company looks like it makes a profit by providing institutions with a package that is meant to involve kids in a fund-raising event. Your problems are the following: - On the one hand, you have positive feedback by WOT users, but the overall reliability is low. This means you have to get more people to rate the website. MYFUNRUN: MyFunRun is relatively new so of course it will take some time to get reviews. Not much we can do about that. - On the other hand, your website has heavy issues, especially when it comes to the content. MYFUNRUN: What heavy issues do we have with regards to content?? You have not been specific at all about what the problems are with the content?? We describe our services and everything about the program. Not sure what your objection is other than our privacy policy which is trust e certified. The contact us page has a toll free number, email, live chat etc…We are in no way hiding or trying to fool anyone. I will address the latter issue, as it seems to be the key one. Try to put yourselves in my shoes: I am a random user with no link to the scene you are aiming at. I am not your target audience. I have not had a chance to benefit from your services. Hence, how do I know your website is not a scam or a fake? Everything seems to point in the wrong direction: - The website has many other copycat websites gathered under the MyEvent Label; MYFUNRUN: These are not "copy cat" websites under the MyEvent label. They are websites that target specific users with specific content and features for their needs. (class reunions, family reunions, fundraising, personal and group events etc…) what specific problem do you have with MyEvent.com??? - The About Us page is always poor of information, whereas there is a huge, lengthy and scary privacy agreement; MYFUNRUN: We have a toll free phone number and can be reached 7 days a week. We have been online for 13 years and have nothing to hide. MyEvent.com is who is behind MyFunRun and that is why we have MyEvent on our page. Nothing to hide at all. The privacy policy is certified by Trust E. Nothing at all to be scared of. We don't share any information whatsoever. Not sure what you don't like there? Obviously there is a certain amount of legal jargon in all Terms of Use and privacy policies. - Yet, even after 6-7 minutes browsing (gosh, you're making me waste my time) I am still unable to identify your Business number. You claim registration from sum Trust institution, but I am ignorant and/or unable to track back your business details outside your website. MYFUNRUN: MyFunRun is a division of MyEvent.com as stated. We are a Canadian corporation that does most of our business in the United States. We have a toll free phone number and contact information everywhere on the website. Not sure what you are looking for and can't find. Why don't you try calling us??? So, what do I assume? I assume you have something to hide. Therefore, although the website does not rank in the red zone, immediately falls in the suspicious one. MYFUNRUN: I think your assumptions are false. There is nothing at all to hide and we are not trying to hide anything. That is why our toll free phone number and other information as to who is behind MyFunRun (MyEvent.com) is made abundantly clear. Actually, I wish I could make a couple of phone calls to the schools that you claim are your testimonials to check if you are really a scam or not. MYFUNRUN: You can contact the schools very easily through their websites that we listed on the testimonials page. What kind of scam do you think we could be running? This is an information site only! Do you see how easily I am carried away just by looking at your website? Maybe it is not a scam, but it has the aspect of a service provider that has something to hide -- maybe your services are not as beneficial as advertised, etc. Consequently: low rating. MYFUNRUN: We have absolutely nothing to hide and we couldn’t be more transparent and up front about everything. Does it make sense to you? MYFUNRUN: It makes no sense to us.
