Is nutritionaction.com Safe?

Nutrition action is a product of The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI). One thing will tell you about CSPI - they wanted to have FDA make multivitamins available by prescription only in the early 1990's. Since multivitamins have never killed anyone, even though over 100 million people take them every day, this would have been a grossly draconian error that would have tremendously restricted our freedom to choose to take safe and helpful dietary supplements. Whatever "good" intentions they might have had, they are on the fringe of free-thinking society. Apparently, they think that we, the American public are too dumb to make up our own minds and need someone to protect us from ourselves. This is "fringe" and un-American.
