Firefox and Chrome seem to think that the site has a reputation for hosting "unwanted software". I'd say the vast majority of the software hosted on OldApps is totally fine and as long as you know what you're looking for you aren't going to have any trouble.

"Download-Buttons" which are 20x bigger than the download-links of the software you are looking for. those download-buttons mislead you to downloads for download-manager, or *****
I dont know if the software is malware-free, but such site-behavior is a reason, not to go there anymore

Numerous copyright violations have been reported to the site's administrators concerning the plagiarism of articles by a forum member called "roipatrick."
This member is coping and pasting articles from various Web sites and then presenting them as his own original works.
Also there are spam posts in the forum that have either been missed or ignored by the moderators.
Use extreme caution when clicking on links in forum posts. And always research all software before installing.
