They are cold-calling at random by phone, claiming that they "know" your Windows PC has a virus. They get you to call in, set up a Remote Assistance session, and then "confirm" that they "found" the virus. Now they ask you to pay an annual fee to remove the virus. Problem is, they reached a Symantec rep who had a new clean install of windows ready to test their claim, and able to tell they were lying! ***** Also why do they ask for a fax of your DRIVERS LICENSE to process your credit card payment? Eeek!

Company that is well known for scams. They gain remote access to your computer, and they insist on payment details through email, including having you fax a copy of your drivers license. Sounds like the perfect identity theft ring to me. Although they use a hosting company located in the US, they are actually located in India.

Their services are engaged in phishing, and/or other misleading scams. Please be aware what you're going into. Symantec Corp. (Computer security vendor) had prepared a video explaining their scamming techniques.
