Is openbsd.org Safe?

It is a safe OS and the site itself is safe. Red flags are true though, it is openly in the community right now that there is a strong suspicion that backdoors in the IPSec stack exist due to government request for their insertion. While this is a privacy concern, some of these articles also said that these agencies are having an issue decrypting intelligence, hence the request for a backdoor. The FBI has been trying for backdoors into most encryption systems lately. If they truly cannot do their jobs, then they justifiably need the backdoors. People seem to forget that encryption technology is a gift from the government and military. It is all fun and games until something actually happens, then we all cry. Privacy is necessary, but you have to allow for security as well. Definitely worth keeping an eye on. I would still trust the OS.
