Is opticontacts.com Safe?

Just bought a more than 1-year supply of contact lenses from this company in June 2014. No processing fee was charged. They contacted me by email the next day when there was a problem confirming the prescription, and I called the company - the phone was answered promptly, and the items were shipped out on the following business day. (I did pay a little extra for priority mail shipping.) Only issue with this site is that they advertise free shipping, which they don't provide on discounted items - but even after paying for priority shipping, this price was the best one I could find.

It is unethical to have “hidden processing” fees and slide them in at the last minute just before the unsuspecting customer completes the order. In my case – the fees did not appear until the last screen – only after completing several screens of registration, shipping and payment information. Before ordering – I did read the shipping policies, etc.. – looking for a hidden fee and found nothing. I did not order – kept looking – and found a better price – from an ethical company.
