Is otherinbox.com Safe?

This is very insecure! You give permission for them to store and use your email, and name(s), username(s), and email address(es), and to access your contacts (depending on which services you install). hxxp://otherinbox.com/privacy-policy/ hxxp://otherinbox.com/terms-and-conditions/

It was difficult to get out of the Other Inbox. I could see straight away (after I signed up) that this is a potentially huge privacy risk, because I did not have a trusting relationship with this company as I do with Google. I had provided my Google Gmail login. First I tried changing my Google password. That didn't stop Other Inbox from accessing all of my Gmail inbox. I noticed some of my email was not appearing in my inbox as read, after I had read them. I searched my Gmail account and found that those emails were now labeled "OIB" (other in box). I removed that label, to re-access those emails. I Googled OIB and saw the connection with Other Inbox. I then realized I would need to revoke within my Google account the access I had effectively given to Other Inbox. Which I did (yesterday) and so far, so good. Other Inbox may very well be a great service, but it should be more up-front about how to withdraw from the service.

I hate this, but it will not allow you to delete it even though it says you can easily. I've been trying since I got this thing and customer support is non-existent or they don't act as if they understand the word DELETE. I want it off like a bad case of poison ivy and the sooner the better.
