BEFORE: to my eye, this site had some problems from ***** but the complaints here and elsewhere have dried up.
I've given this a good rating for the moment, to counteract machej's allegation. I hope this user will provide more information in that regard.

This web site is one of many which promote the owner's art products and services. It is safe to visit, nicely designed, and uses secure payment.
Unfortunately, the owner promotes these sites by unethical methods, including hiring freelance microworkers to create fake (spam) ratings.

Nobody was hired to create spam ratings. This is only your assumption.
You can check and see for yourself that there were no 100s of users rating this site or anything of the kind.
We wanted to hire someone that will take care of this situation by legitimate means (like contacting WOT users through the forum or any other means and ask for them to review the site again). This is a time consuming task which deserves a payment.
I am standing behind what I said before that no user has ever got a payment for rating the site.
Also, users on PaintYourLife.com always enjoyed the best customer service, privacy protection and quality of products, and we will continue to do so.

please point one such case. why you just say things without attaching any proof?
all those who rated the site are either customers or employees or people who know the site. Nobody got paid for rating it.
I start getting the feeling as if a competitor of ours is paying some guys here to give us bad ratings.
I have re-evaluated this site at the request of the owner, since my original experience of their spamming guestbooks and forums has been explained, and this was more than 3 years ago.

This site has been added to lists/guestbooks that have no relationship to the content of this site. It has therefore been marked as Spam. Where there is Spam, there is frequently hacking, spyware/malware, and viruses, so visitor beware.

Hi, years ago, there was an SEO company that shortly after we hired them we found out that they use this tactic, and we stopped working with them. You will not find any forum links to this site for the past several years. If you do, please show me and we will get them removed right away. We have 1000s of very satisfied customers which you can see in the testimonials on our site. We put a lot of emphasis on our reputation and credibility.
