Based on a quick google search there seem to be some questionable tactics used for gaining hits and/or customers, but as another poster said, nothing worse than other relatively benign sites. I didn't spend enough time to note how far left or right any of the posts were, and disagree with the comment that this is "another" example of poor reputation based on perceived right-leaning views. This is where I found the info (read: anecdotes, so opinions) on possibly questionable marketing and/or false advertising: *****

I did not see anything that would cause the poor ratings given to this site by WOT. It is not the most intellectual site but is no worse than USA today or AOL.
3
Yet again another harmless web site that seems to be blackballed because of a perceived conservative viewpoint

I see no problem with the site; I don't know why it has low scores. Granted, the information is thin - I think the reader demographics appear to be like Reader's Digest - 6th-9th grade, 9th grade being the highest allowed level for article submissions. So the site isn't written for the highly educated, but nothing wrong with that. The articles are short - probably appealing to busy parents. Scratching my head over the low ratings. I do see articles taking various sides of things and they appear to take neutral and/or accepting attitudes towards quite disparate opinions. That is an indicator of a source that is more likely to be reliable. The site does not appear to lean in any particular political direction. That's a good thing! @APPLETREE (like that name!), I don't think people are scoring the site negatively because of abortion. I see articles on both sides on the site. It does not appear to take a stand on the matter. I'm strongly pro-CHOICE. No one is pro-abortion. Please don't use that term - it is very weighted and people won't be as likely to take your observations seriously when you use a term like that. People are pro-choice or anti-choice.

After reading the article about the surrogate mother who refused to abort a couple's "flawed" baby, which was an uplifting article, I suspect that the poor ratings given to this site (via WOT) were given by pro-abortion advocates. Are anti-life liberals now targeting pro-life websites??? How despicable! No wonder I don't like far-left liberals.

This site is is good , no worse than others , if you do not agree with the sites "fresh-provocative-real" approach and You Personally don't like that, my best suggestion is: don't go there again. It is undeserving of the current bad rating... Greybeard
