Is peel.com Safe?

This app came free with my new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Android). The 10.1 has an IR transmitter and Peel was packaged to specifically take advantage of this. I can't see Samsung patnering with a malicious company myself. Check out any Galaxy Note 10.1 ads to see what's packaged for yourself.

I don't understand why people are writing the comment about malware. This site does not ask you to download anything or install anything at all. It is pure informational. The most remote thing that is client based is an iPhone app, which is reviewed by apple as well.

This is a totally legitimate site that accompanies a very free, useful and reputable iPhone app for TV remote control. If you don't buy the remote, you can still use the app for setting up your favorite channels and getting info about what's on in a clean, easy to use interface. Whoever reported this site as having malware etc is known for doing this on multiple sites and if you got to the website which supposedly is the site to confirm this claim, the owner states "I am sick to death of people being redirected here" by a known individual who has some motivation which I don't understand, but this site is cool and very trustworthy. I purchased my remotes directly and had great customer service and no problems regarding the use of my cc and receiving the product as promised.

Peel is an iPhone app and hardware combination that helps you find TV programming you'll like and control your whole entertainment system with a single tap. It just launched this year, so any poor ratings are very outdated. Thanks for your help reviewing this site.
