False advertising. Says it's a free lookup but you have to pay for any useful info (like the registered user's name)

free ***** to view RESULTS.  It seems to piggyback off the ***** site.

Makes promises they have no intention to keep. Just one of many sites that try to suck money out of the public by promising free information, then asking you to pay for the information.
2
say can help but no help US only no help for new zealand

This website is a scam. I bought a single record for $0.97 and a day later they charged my card $24.95 for "monthly service". I never signed up for monthly service.
2
I entered a name to search, and they found the individual. I then ordered the report for $30, and they found ABSOLUTELY NO new information. Since they provided nothing of any value, I asked for a refund of my $30, which they have not provided.
2
Anyone who advertises a "Free Search" and doesn't deliver speaks for itself.
2
This site claims to provide reverse telephone number look up for free. When you go to the website, they then try to charge you.
2
Website offers free search of telephone numbers. After putting in the number it does a search and responds yes we have an owner and nothing else. If you want to know WHO owns that phone number you must pay from 3.95 to 9.95 for a report

***** is a sleazy, unethical business that feeds off of selling people's privacy. Many people don't even realize that some of the telemarketer calls and other intrusions of their privacy are coming from their personal information that peoplefinders.com is selling... much of that information might even be outdated. You can submit a form to request that they delete your personal information but guess what: you have to submit the form by US mail and you have to give them more personal information. I tried it and they did not delete my information. ***** and the rest of those sleazy types of information sellers should be more tightly regulated by law. In my opinion, and I'm sure many others, peoplefinders.com is a scummy business and people should avoid purchasing anything from them. You only have to read some of the other other reviews in WOT to realize that my opinion is shared by many others.

I use this site @ about $1.95 a name. I don't mind reading ALL the details on a web site, so I am not often ripped off. Read carefully.

If you pay them the 0.95 you will get a number then a few days later they will charge your card for *****

This site does everything to trick you out of more money than you expect to pay and to sign you up for memberships. Will never use ***** do they get a positive rating
2
Deceptive site that tries to con users into thinking it is a traditional phone book and address lookup service that says it is free. But they lie, because you have to pay to get whole information, and what little information they do give is often wrong. This site is NOT recommended to use.
8
Claimed that they had a phone number available, I paid for the report and the phone number was not there. In fact, all of the information in the report was what was already available for free online.
3
Do not trust this site, not safe.
2
claim to be free in a google search then when you search it wants a credit card

This site has numerous has numerous ethical issues. I did a check under phone number and name and they had so much misinformation that it was almost fraud if not total deception. Not one piece of information from age to associated people was accurate. Another one of those "social media" sites that is neither ethical or honest or credible and if you respond they just want more information including your credit card so that they can rip you off even more. This is my opinion with cause.
5
This is outrageous fraudulent site, was billed 125+ in three days,, denied acess to site and then rude, extremely customer service denied any refunds FRAUD DO NOT GO TO THIS SITE be warned!

AVOID!!! Whether you are trying to remove info or get info!!! My rating is from the point of view of attempting to clean up my digital footprint. On other sites that gather "Public Data" you do NOT have to PRINT out a PDF, include previous addresses and MAIL it in! That is a complete scam to get more info from you on YOUR DIME...make that a quarter and nearly 2 dimes. Uh, no. Other people search sites have phones numbers or online forms and do not ask for further info to remove listings. Now reading the flip-side I see that "peoplefinders.com" is just all around unethical and a scam.
