Is permies.com Safe?

An enjoyable site filled with friendly discussion about sustainable living and permaculture.  The forums are very active and have lots of knowledgeable users who are always ready to help. My favorite thing about the site is the strict enforcement of the 'be nice' rule.  It's good to know that there are still some places on the internet where one can have a friendly, solution focused conversation about growing things, living, building and other stuff.

This site has an honorable set of rules that are arrived at in good thought and just action. These rules apply to regular people, but if you have alphabet soup behind your name you are exempt, you can bully people and call them names with no consequences, that's the perk for experts at permie you get to call all the little folks stupid and the moderators allow it because they are in desperate need of content that lines the pockets better. What you as a normal person have to give is not important to them.
