I was stupid enough in my time of need to go to personalmoneystore.com and give them all of my personal information in order to obtain a small personal loan. I did not complete the application, because I had a change of heart, but somehow the information that I did type in was saved. Then the calls started. Several times an hour every hour of the day they called asking if I wanted a loan. I told them I had changed my mind and was no longer interested, they told me they would delete my information, but then I would still receive calls. They called from several different numbers all over the country, and would hang up on me if I asked them to stop calling, or if I wanted to talk to a representative or manager. They would laugh at me when I called back, angry that they hung up on me, and they would say things in another language at me and hang up again. They were most likely cursing me because they had to deal with an angry customer. The treatment I received was unethical. One of the people on the other end of the line even started to flirt with me and asked me " How old are you? You have a nice voice, I'd really like to talk with you. I love you. So, how old are you?" I am concerned by the behavior of the company's representatives, that I might have made a mistake and handed my personal information including my SS# over to scam artists. I have no way of taking my information away from them. I have no way of stopping their harassing phone calls. I am watching my bank account like a hawk. This is potentially a scam.

I've came across this site from the link in other forums that I've visited to, it was about financial stuffs that I was looking into. I was redirected to their blogs where I found other related news, and I'd say I found their website quite useful. I'm quite surprised that they have such bad reputation though, the site is very well-made and informative. I don't find it really surprising that lending / finance-related sites like this have articles or news not related to the site itself, I believe other sites also do that to cater to the interest of the viewer and it's not something new. If people find them suspicious then I believe they have all the rights as to where they put their trust and doubts, but as for me I found the articles interesting and helpful.

I don't mind allowing some links to this site from the sites I moderate. My sites have gotten good conversations started from their comments.

Look, I am reading a lot of complaints here, but this site does do what it says. You apply for a payday loan and they match you to someone who will give it to you. I would prefer to go here than to individually apply at 50 different sites and give out my information 50 different times. To me, one place is a lot more secure and takes out a lot of the risk than doing it 50 times. I found this site because I was looking for a payday loan. If you came to this site for other reasons like some of the comments state than why didn't you just leave? I don't see how it is a "spam" site. To me a spam is someone who takes my information and sends me unsolicited contacts through email, phone, etc. This site doesn't ask for your information unless you are applying for a loan. There is no deceptive areas where you put your information for any reason other than what is stated. I want to specify again, that the only place it asks for any information at all is in applying for a loan. If you don't want a loan, don't apply! It seems simple enough to me.

We do not steal people's information. We do not spam people. We are a legitimate lender matching service that fights the lenders to protect the borrowers. User experience and safety are our top priority. When someone complains about forum spam we investigate and attempt to stop or prevent it from happening. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me personally. Thanks. :)

Sure, it's a loan portal website first and foremost. That's why they need personal info - do you think a lender is simply going to give anyone money without asking for personal details? Get real. Regarding the articles, you tell me where you'll find something so eclectic (outside of the big news centers). Lots of interesting info in one place.

this site should be kicked off.

Spammed nightingale forum. It was somewhat on-topic, but if admins google the email address sending them, it's spamming other forums too with different ads (the nick of the person CashAd is what tipped us off).

Forum-spam to seemingly-ontopic articles. I assume the articles are plagiarized, but this scumbag has so many sister sites that it's hard to find the original. Definitely a superior breed of spam; I wouldn't have spotted it, if it weren't for the discordance between their domain name and the hosting of "news" articles.
