This is the site for the Personal Trainer Food shipment program and is reflected as the actual site for the same products according to Amazon.

Just a wierd people who gave the red. This site even does not harm my computer.

As a real personal trainer I will state that this and many similar sites are a complete con job. Not only are the food claims outlandishly bogus- but also add in issues like it's privacy issues, security holes and many fake reviews and this one is as red as it gets. ***** EDIT: I am flagging what appears to be fake reviews on here for review- as well as the (apparent) owner's comments. His use of the name-calling has no basis and doesn't belong on a review. If one wishes to make strong claims they had better have something to back them up...

I assume that the poor ratings are because it is a weight loss program.  I can tell you that both my wife and I started this program, and we both lost more weight than advertised.  My wife's parents are now trying it.  If you wait for their sales, the food is as little as $10/day, which I have found to be as affordable as buying groceries.  The food has always been high quality. We are on our 8th order - we keep it on hand for a quick dinner if we don't feel like cooking.  I use their guiding principles, but I don't follow the program to the letter.  I weighed 220 and I dropped to the mid 190's, and I've kept the weight off for months just by making better choices.  I travel for work, and eating out isn't a ***** can almost always find something on the menu that works.

As a site, per se, PersonalTrainerFood is neither fraudulent nor potentially harmful to you computer. However, it is a weight loss site offering a quick weight loss program that may not work for or appeal to some people. Weight loss is a personal thing. Just because this program doesn't work for you does not make this site a bad one. As for child safety, that question is irrelevant. No child will be ordering food from this website. Please don't act out your frustration with the diet by attacking a website others find useful. That is NOT the purpose of WOT. If you feel the diet is harmful, or the food does not live up to your expectations, file a complaint with the appropriate agency (FTC or FDA or related).

I have used this food for over a year now, as part of serious LIFESTYLE changes. This is not a diet site. The food is just that--FOOD. Cooked and flash-frozen vegetables and meats. Not a lot of presevatives, no pasta or carbs. It's healthy stuff, and partnered with LIFESTYLE changes, it really works. They have never sold my personal information or email address, I have never been hacked. It is a great company selling a great product.

Some of the comments by other people are simply incorrect or misleading. Most importantly, the privacy policy is listed on the front page. Secondly, the company focuses on real foods like meats, vegetables, eggs, cheeses and nuts. Whether or not some of the items are mechanically separated or some minor preservatives are added is irrelevant. The company has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau-- and that's without purchasing an accreditation. That speaks volumes to the company's integrity. Also, the comment about the Amazon reviews makes zero sense. This is the only weight loss company Amazon will partner with-- and Amazon is very careful when it comes to spamming reviews. Amazon would not continue to partner with Personal Trainer Food to sell product if this was the case. Groupon also has named Personal Trainer Food to their "Best of the Best List." It is unfortunate that with all these accolades, the WOT website allows a couple of misguided, mean spirited and under informed individuals to smear the reputation of a great, and growing company. A company that tries to stand out in an industry of fraud as the ones who tell the truth about weight loss and dieting-- and offers food that tastes great in the process.

This site has several issues: There are claims of rapid weight loss and no easily visible encouragement to visit a doctor (who might freak out at such an extreme diet). The privacy policy is not easily visible from the homepage, and doesn't cover the use of Google Analytics, which their TOS requires. There is a customer login with password at the bottom of the page and it is not on a secure (HTTPS) page. Parts of the site do have HTTPS but they are way outdated, only supporting TLS 1.0 and obsolete SHA1 certificate.
