Nothing wrong here, why so much negativity?

Anybody can get spoofed and end up on a blacklist! You should be checking these things out when people tell you the website is fine. It's NOT on the blacklist now. Ridiculous that these negative ratings persist.

I am a landscape designer, use this site all the time. I know and trust all the nurseries and information in this huge and helpful data base. The website owners are prominent bloggers in the community and well-respected. No issues!! It is a concern to me that WOT cannot seem to correct itself.

This is the most helpful, searchable site for finding details on decorative plants and shrubs that I have found. There are old comments about this being on a particular blacklist. This is no longer the case, if it even ever was. I think it was put on a list by a *computer* because it has the word "lust" in it. I have seen no evidence that it ever sent spam and a list of plants has *never* been a threat to children. It appears that WOT cannot correct itself, and people marking this is "unsafe" because they read someone else's comments about hearing it was unsafe is not helpful, and should be given no weight.

Sit e for plant lovers. Perfectly legit.

I have never had issues with this site. I am a landscape designer and I've used this site several times to learn about unique plants. This site is like a pintrest for plant nurseries. There is nothing scandalous about it. Take some time to actually USE this site before you freak out about the name.

don"t be put off by the scary word - the LUST here is only for PLANTS!

This is a plant place! Sells plants, describes plants . . . that's it!

This website is provides information about plants. I did not investigate calims about spam, but there is nothing I could find that would be bad for children.

Please, do NOT associate this site with Arrowhead Alpines, a very reputable nursery whose name has been used by this site. I have utmost trust in the people at Arrowhead, as do most of my gardening friends. Others say PlantLust sells email addresses, resulting in spam, so I am not buying through this site, but fail to see anything objectionable or harmful to children here. Perhaps the use of the word 'Lust' is the problem.

This site is in the domain blacklist of the website that evaluates for spam. At the home page, click on domain blacklist and scroll through an ungodly number of domains just in the "p" portion of the alphabet. However, there is nothing concerning children, so I agree that makes no sense other than to make someone look really, really bad. I have some degree of the same concern.

While it may be true that this site uses people's email addresses to send spam, a very reprehensible thing to do (though most of the comments here appear to be based on just one man's opinion), I am annoyed that it is rated as dangerous to children. WHAT?! How on earth can selling plants be dangerous to children? WOT goes so overboard this way (the fault of the individual users)! Hey, guys, you're undermining your own aim of keeping people away. When I see a site, that can have nothing at all to do with children, being called "dangerous to children", I sort of assume that maybe the other complaints are hooey, too. And who knows? Perhaps some of the raters are connected with a rival commercial site? Worst of all, I just looked at the joewein site, clicking on the link provided by TheAnon, and as of today, at least, June 29, 2013, "plantlust.com is NOT listed there. Did someone get confused by the word "lust" in its name?
