You really need to be living within the United States to get your moneys worth. Half of these channels require an American IP address. In the fine print under the listed T.V channels it states "Requires an active subscription account with the content provider." This means that unless you're already paying/subscribed to these channels, they simply won't work. This should be a deal-breaker if you live internationally, as only a third of the TV channels will work. If you already have PayTV and are looking to stream your current subscriptions to a gaming/stream device, this is probably for you. If you are looking for a cheap alternative to PayTV, this is probably not for you. PlayOn offers a 14 day free trial, which is needed in my opinion. Trying to cancel this subscription is not painstakingly hard, but does require back-and-forth emailing. All companies try to prevent you from leaving their service to some extent, and PlayOn is no exception. If you don't have the time to deal with support, stay clear. PlayOn isn't a scam, but it's messy as hell. You get what you pay for.
