Is pokefarm.org Safe?

My 14 year old daughter created a poke farm account around 2 years ago. Soon after we discovered a 21+ year old male was contacting our minor daughter through pokefarm chat rooms. This legal aged man at first friended our daughter, then ended up getting her cell #, starting texting her on the side as well etc. ect. When my wife and I learned of this we immediately contacted Adam Haskell who is the creator and moderator of the website. Adam questioned my wife and I as being her real parents and even went as far as emailing our daughter through the poke farm website to give her a warning about that we or someone was trying to get her account banned!!! DO NOT LET YOUR MINOR CHILDREN ON THIS WEBSITE. There is no moderation or control of the content that is on this site and not only that both me and my wife have contacted Adam Haskell only to be questioned about actually being our daughters parents!! After that statement I asked for a phone call but this Adam Haskell decides its in his best interest to hide behind the computer instead of actually accepting my phone call or talking to me man to man about this issue with an over 21+ year old male pursuing our 14 year old daughter on his poke farm website which he is 100% responsible for all activities that occur within his website. I have spent all week battling with Adam and he refuses to cooperate with me and my spouse and still continues to question us as being her parents but when it comes down to us explaining we can prove to him we are indeed her parents, he has no response to that, doesn't want to talk on the phone, only wants to hide behind the computer screen. I am NOT making this up ***** and please take this as true warning from a caring parent that poke ***** IS NOT A SAFE PLACE FOR MINOR CHILDREN. There is NO moderation in the chat rooms, they are full of cursing and foul language and not only that the website owner Adam Haskell has the nerve to actually question both my wife and I of even being our daughters real parents when we expressed several concerned emails to him as her parents!! We offered to prove to Adam in any way we had to to prove to this jerk of a site moderator that we are indeed this minor childs parents to protect our daughter and that we request this account to immediately be suspended due to the communications to our minor daughter from this male 21+ of age on the poke ***** chat room areas, after 15 + emails to Adam (site moderator) arguing back and forth with him this guy even had the nerve to try to give me the parent parental advice on what I should do and actually tried to act like he could give me parental advice on how to handle our own daughter!! The only reason I contacted the admin of this site in the first place was to warn him about the overage/underage conversations and that we as the parents of our 14 year old daughter do NOT approve of her using this site. To this day our daughter continues to have an account even though rarely used now thank God and Adam still refuses to do anything even though I have been on him all week about this about why in the world he is allowing this to continue on his website! Parents be warned there is NOTHING kid friendly about poke farm. You see the eggs getting hatched and the cool little screen shots they build with pokemon characters but come on parents why don't you enter the chat rooms of poke ***** it is there where the foul language is and no control of chat room conversations at all whatsoever. You have teen and adults with no moderation exchanging emails of foul language, exchanging of emails, cell #'s and personal info!! If a 21+ year old man pursued your 14 year old daughter on this website and then you as a concerned parent contacted the actual site administrator only to be questioned as being her real parents. Both my wife and I have sent endless emails to Adam and he just refuses to listen to us, he thinks that because after 10 email exchanges to him about "ummm yes we are her parents" and the continual discrediting of that we finally became upset with adam through email and finally lost patience and put him on total blast and apparently he is making the decision upon himself to not do anything about this situation because maybe he is butt hurt that we actually started speaking to him like the little boy hiding behind the computer that he is. I am enraged at this webmaster, almost to the point of seeking legal action against him and his website because they are responsible for the content that is on their website and they are most certainly responsible for action on their website when it comes to adult and minor conversations especially when both parents of the minor have made it clear to the site moderator what has been going on but still to this day poke farm and Adam Haskell continues to allow our minor daughter to continue to use and even access the chatrooms still that this 21+ male first made contact with her. Im told that this adult male is no longer contacting her but I really just can't go off of that as being the truth in the end. So yeah parents think twice, three times maybe even 4 times before you continue to allow your minor child to use poke ***** because we are the parents of our daughter and upon contacting the sites administrator we got questioned as being her parents and he even went as far to sending our daughter a warning email as well through the poke farm site. I warned Adam more than once that we have brought this to his attention, he has chosen to discredit us as her parents even though we have tried to prove to adam but he refuses any proof that we would offer and at this point he is obviously just butt hurt because after going nowhere with him we finally put him on blast over his irresponsible choices with our daughters account and his company as well. We continue to explain to him as a moderator of poke farm it is his responsibility of what happens on his site and if anything harmful happened to our daughter because of his neglectful decisions and this 21+ year old predator as the moderator of this site so help me we would pursue 100% legal action on him and his company for their neglectful decisions and moderations problems. I have told him this is NOT a game, this is our daughter and there is an over-aged man that has repetitively approached my minor child and he is fully aware of the activities but only questions us as her parents, won't accept or even take proof or evidence as we offered to prove we were her legal parents on several occasions because this idiot is just so sure that we are one of her high school friends playing a joke on her! That is what Adam Haskell and poke ***** is about parents. I share this review and testimony about our experiences with this website and the actions of the moderator to the fullest truth today. I would not write this long review if I had intentions to be dishonest, everything I write in this review is hard to believe, when I share this story with friends and family they are outraged like my wife and I over the actions of Adam Haskell and poke*****. Even after 15-20 email exchanges with the site moderator, we have only been ridiculed by the sites administrator questioning us as being her real parents and even going to the extent to contacting our minor daughter to warn her! Absolutely unacceptable poke ***** and shame on you Adam Haskell for even dare questioning both my wife and I as being her real parents and contacting our daughter through the site to give her warnings about us trying to ban her account!! HOW DARE YOU. I bet you didn't think the parent would do this now did you there Adam? Well Mr. Adam I am going to continue to expose you and how you moderate you website until the light shines on your dark. I will to stop exposing you for your actions and how you administrate your website, You will be exposed 100% Adam Haskell, you messed with the wrong parents, maybe you want to question me and my wife still you know cause according to Adam Haskell we are just some high school kids playing a joke on our teenage daughter! Again Adam shame on you and be ready because the exposure of your actions and how you handled our situation with this over-aged male and our under-age minor child has just begun. The dark will be exposed and yes by her real parents to. You messed with the wrong mommy and daddy there Mr. Haskell. Don't you dare question us and being her parents, you are now going to learn the hard way by 100% exposing you in the light. Yes Adam Haskell and poke farm.com did do the above things to not only myself but my wife as well and we are done with dealing with this immature irresponsible web master who thinks he knows what you should and shouldn't do as a parent. Sorry but I don't take much advice from 24 year old kids about how to parent my child. Sorry this review is a mile long and yes I am frustrated as ever right now about this but ***** has taken this way to far and I the parent of my child refuse to be silent about this any longer and will only continue to expose this dangerous website to the online communities Sincerely, A extremely worried father and mother

It's a good website for young Pokemon fans and I'm not entirely sure why it's rated 13+. Cussing is allowed but they make sure that people don't do it continuously. I'd make sure that you'd stay out of the drama rumors that goes around it, though. But the main part about the site overall is just an enjoyable adoption game so not much can go wrong, really. If you think that your child/you are mature enough to endure the occasional cussing and stay out of outside rumors it would be fine.

It might be similar to GPX+ but I've never seen the GPX+ site but I will inform you that pokefarm is amazing, with its own games corner and many other fun features. there are no scams viruses or anything of the sort. Nice staff, and aside from the more vile underbelly it is a very nice good site.

Very fun website! No scams, spam, or viruses in sight! This website is made for 13+ do to the fact it is okay to swear there, as long as it isn't repetitive and annoying, but there isn't normally too much swearing and I would allow kids to go on it. Every user I've met there is extremely nice and friendly!

The site is certainly not "family friendly" there are certain parts that you get called a "Moron" and to "F*** off". Some of the features aren't in GPX for a good reason and some of the main staff are quite immature. Although the site does have some good features like scours. Whoever, recently claims with plenty of evidence have come forward that it's scam, and with the recently added "Black Market" where you pay real life money for items. The money's for a new server? Not so sure about that, when ever users complain about lag they get told to click less and nothing is done. I would state what else there is to support the claims but the list is simply too long. 100% all honesty there, no joke. I would certainly NOT recommend it to ANYONE unless you like being abused and scammed. My tip is to play (stay away from the forum) but not pay.

Do not listen to a lot of those negative comments about the site. It may or may not have "stolen material" HOWEVER the site is completely safe to be on without risk of spam, viruses, or other bad things for your computer. Instead it is a fun place for those who love Pokemon and love the obsession with collecting them all.

Kolink and Rokon (admins of *****) used to be members of Global PokedeX Plus. They flamed about GPX+ and decided to make their own poor imitation of the site without the permission of the creators of the original Pokemon adopting site. The GPX+ administrators aren't doing anything about them and what has been stolen off their site from the past because they actually have the decency to be mature Netizens and not ruin their reputation over two conniving scums, so GPX+ has moved onto much better development. These two Pokefarm.org admins are also heinous. If you were a newbie posting a humble question on the site, they would lock the topic and ban you. Also, if you have a problem with 'their site', they'd ban you and send a despicable reason why with Pokemon pornography. Definitely not kid-safe. Even though Kolink has moved on without Rokon, he's not really improving as a person if he is continuing to use a stolen layout and stolen features. Other than not respecting laws of all countries when it comes to the internet ( like those under 13ish to be able to create an account, when it's clearly illegal/unethical in other countries ), this site has stolen the primary layout of GPX+, as well as a lot of features it has made after PokéFarm's creation. Although some parts are unique, it still doesn't justify thieving a site's layout and features.

A direct rip of GPX+. Has a tiny handful of features that are unique from GPX+ (such as trading), but the rest are direct rips, including the recently added "Mystery Counter". Avoid PokeFarm, don't support someone who steals features from a much more popular site.
