Is pony.town Safe?

Pony town its just an unsafe rip off based chat game that allows people creating customized pixelated pony characters based on my little pony series, (the problem its because the game its filled with a very toxic community composed by : bad players who are arrogant, childish and disrespecteful overall to each others, the moderators and developers of ponytown never do their job on right way to take an action to ban the problematic players who : starts cyberbullywing, insulting other players + those who starts fightening and causing discussions about controversial topics inside their game, at end the victim is who ends banned and the bad players remains in the game in most part of the cases. - Pony town its a web-browser online mmo chat roleplay game that has the objective of people creating their own pony oc characters + a customized map + customized house , the game also allows interacting/talking with other players around the public map available in the game, the graphics from ponytown and the animations are well made , but the problem starts with the toxic community of problematic players and the lack of moderation in general. ----------- Besides that, pony town its not a safe game or place for children, because this game has integrated various (hidden) multilingual +18 servers where the moderators and the owners/devs from the game allows players insulting / cussing each others , they also allows people chating about +18 topics inside such hidden server. ''Worst part its because that hidden server can be accessed by anyone who put fake age above 18 when sign up to ponytown and any player always can change their own age and put above 18 to access the innapropriate server (where people keeps cursing and talking with each others in an disrespecteful way) , be careful with such type of site ! All positive reviews listed here aren't totally true because they has been writted by pony town players who aren't aware from the risks inside the game or about the toxic enviornment sittuation . Some reviews also may be written by some players who are mean and likes to defend the corrupt toxic environment + the innapropriate idea of the existence of +18 servers in pony town . - Now lets know some facts that i will mention there : - - Facts about pony town app for mobile devices : ------------------------------------------------ Also you should notice that the ponytown official app available there or on google play store (isn't a game after all). (but yeah just an integration of ponytown official site running inside an app using android system's webview feature). Pony town official app that's available on google play store doesn't provide a decent presentation page or even a demo mode to allow people creating characters + maps without needing internet connection , instead of that they just shown buttons to convince players sign up to create characters and play the game (with internet connection dependency only) after all , that's not good , if you has no internet connection the pony town app doesn't work at all and becames useless , because you can't even create characters or maps while you are offline (or without an available internet connection around you) , the devs from that pony town should add an offline mode to their app , that would sound good and more secure after all , instead of being just an app 100% dependent from internet connection + social media registration , pony town would be more secure if provided a total functional offline mode to people just create characters + maps to themselves without the risk of being in contact or in presence with the toxic or problematic people around the game. That would be great and secure for all the children that wants to play ponytown. That's why i need to say ,if the owners of that game was serious honest people , they would add an offline mode to their android app (that would allow people creating ponies while offline without any sign ups), but they don't care really and convince you to sign up for creating ponies to then being part of their online chat community that has a serious toxic social environment . . - - clarifying more about the risks inside ponytown game: ------------------------------------------------ That pony town can be unsafe chat game for children due because there is a lot of bad players inside the game (even in the pg safe.server) and the problem its when those bad players starts to sending bad / arrogant messages to another players to then later convincing other people being part of their social media groups like '''discord chats'' (in some cases many people who play pony town uses the discord chat app social media account to sign up to pony town to later keeps contacts with the players who they have met with in the game , but also many times the mean players can use discord chat groups to start harassing or attacking other players with hate speech / arrogance messages, that's where the cyberbullywing starts . Ponytown has serious problems with the lack of moderation in general (The owners(devs) and the moderators of ponytown game are not doing their job in the right way to prevent the bad behaviours by part of the mean players) , that's why you should Be careful with who you add as friend on that game or also in discord social media chat app , and you shouldn't accept random invites from people that you doesn't know (it's common to see many players in ponytown inviting random people to join into their discord groups to start roleplay conversations with the other players who they invites (but that's untrusworthy and not safe) . In Pony town page ‘’ terms of service ’’ states that no one can insult other players and always should be polite or then you end banned if you don't follow the rules, but in general this is not the case that follows next: The owners(devs) and the moderators of ponytown game are not even respecting their own rules + terms of use shown at their site '' this because the they agreeded with the idea of .adding / integrating controversial +18 hidden servers inside ponytown game (where players are allowed to : cussing / insulting each others + talking about +18 adult topics and another bad behaviours happens on that +18 server (where many players like doing roleplays where send bad messages against others and that may end in a cyberbullywing case) . The adding of +18 servers inside ponytown (was a totally horrible idea by part of pony town ''owners'' (developer team ) and such type of controversial +18 servers literally allows players ''starting conversations with cussing words'' and such type of pratice it's disrespecting the rules that are listed and ''shown at ponytown's terms of service page''.) all what i can say its: if a game or site has devs/administrators or moderators that are unprofessional and after all doesn't comply with their own listed terms of service + rules. Such type of bad-managed site will represent a bad reputation (like a type of scam that may be filled with unprofessional team of devs and moderators that doesn’t take the resposability or a serious action to prevent the bad behaviours by part of the players . - - -------------------------- here is a list with some issues seen in Pony town game : -------------------------- - - 1. Most part of people who plays ponytown are toxic and problematic , and most part of them are involved into various discord chat groups (where they do roleplays or keeps contact with others), and this may represent a risk for the children who start to play ponytown, the game has innocent appearance, but it isn't what he looks like, this game can destroy the mind of a serious people, because a big part from the players who plays ponytown has very bad personality , and you can notice this due the way how they interact, most part of them are weird people and they like to being arrogant and start fights with anyone who tries to expose the thruth or talking about the toxic social environment issues that are presented into the game . That bad players doesn't admit that they are wrong and they keeps defending the toxity after all. Ponytown its just the worst game that i have played, and one another site that are just ruining the reputation for my little pony fandom. Looks like that fanboys has taken over the internet nowdaysto ruin everything everywhere. Never support pony town, that game doesn't deserve anything because its a place with an unprofessional team of devs + moderators who doesn’t do anything to punish the problematic players in most part of the cases , overtime pony town its becaming with worse social environment, and don't forget that there is a lot of that ponytown supporters who has channel on youtube and use it for promoting the game ( That ponytown youtubers are just influencers who wants to convince you supporting ponytown (devs team) ''owners'' with a money mensal subscription all the months as they do . In my opinion you shouldn't support a game with unprofessional team (that doesn't do anything to solve the issues with their lack of moderation and issues with very toxic social environment ). Ponytown owners gains a lot with their patreon page (and the influencers helps promoting their game a lot with youtube videos to then convincing people who watch their videos to then supporting the game later with a mensal subscription , you literally got none interesting beneficts being their supporter (just unlocks a supporter tag ''to being displayed at your character'' + character slots + new chat colors to being displayed when you are typing in the chat. That's a benefict that worths it ? or its just waste of your valuable money into something that doesn't worth it and has nothing special to offer to you ? - - 2. one of the probably reasons why some bad players aren't banned (that's just my theory) : ------------------------------------------ (i think probably ponytown owners/devs doesn't ban some bad players who are arrogant to others , due because they are probably supporting the ponytown game with a mensal subscription to then display their supporter level tag in front of all players and saying '' i'm the most poweful here nobody can ban me out of there '' anyone without that tag here are just weak and i can do anything to take down anyone who i don't like there ! that's just my theory about why some bad players aren't banned easily (they are like an important gain to ponytown team since they pays a mensal subscription probably , and that's where the doubt starts. - - 3. Friendships in ponytown are just an illusion: --------------------------------------------- If you already played ponytown you will notice that's difficult to find friendships there (and most part of the players around never cares with each others) , virtual friendships at that site are not genuine , Just fake ! ( friendships on that game are just interesed on you to get followers and members to their discord + social media groups) and to finally waste your lifetime with their nonsense roleplays after all , don't waste your time with ponytown if you are someone who are searching for genuine / true friendships. - - 4. Privacy issues with pony town game : ------------------------------------------- be aware of what information you share while talking with someone in ponytown (because all the public or private chat messages in the game '' whispers and party'' are recorded and can be viewed later by the game owners (devs) , and if you accidentally shared personal or confidential information while sending message to someone in the game , then the data that you sent on the message to another player may be readed or viewed (by the game owners) without your own knowledge (this may happen or not ''that's just a possibility'') , the privacy policy page of ponytown game doesn't warn the players to not talk or share personal infos like email and other important data , but players who aren't aware from that , keeps using the game as (social media) daily chat place !! ) also that game could be a bad source for your privacy after all. After you sign up to ponytown you can't delete your own account that its (linked directly with your social media account) + your data later , and if you sent a message to the owners of the game to delete your account they will probably ignore or even refuse your request . - - 5. problems with unfair account merging : -------------------------------- in some cases if some player has decision to play the game with a friend in real life and uses the same wifi network with the same ip address there is a risk of your account and the account of your friend ending merged together into one ,or also both accounts can ending being banned for a non valid reason , while the bad players remains in the game insulting the next victim with their arrogance , the moderators banned the innocent players and the bad ones remains online to spread their arrogance around !!! , that's unfair pratice by the owners and moderators from ponytown , but it happens a lot , that's why ponytown would be considerated as scam game , where the arrogant players always won . That's why you shouldn't waste your time playing a game like this (where players are just mean to each others most part of time , and that ruins the chat experience for everyone).

The-Site is good to get friends of Your type or just enjoy the-game with editing Your pony character. A lot changed since 2016 year and it's still going just fine. Yeah, sometimes there are bad people, who can harass You for literally nothing, but You can always report to the moderation team or remove the chat. I barely recommend this game to people, who are taking things seriously.

I've played(and still am playing) Pony.Town for a bit! It's fun! There is a lack of mods on the pg and 18+ servers though. Highly suggest using the filter, some sensitive things are allowed on 18+ such as r/pe and p/dophilia talk. Suggest not being on 18+ if sensitive to that or not mature enough to handle it.

The community isn't well moderated and there is a shortage of moderators. The "Child-friendly" server exists in vain. They misspell some words to swear. Users show shocking hatred towards LGBT+ via the chat by typing derogatory words and phrases against users a lot and even though my chat is filtered, the filter doesn't remove those derogatory terms and phrases. Also, they tell others to commit suicide via the chat. (Update 2020: The chat is removable now, which is an adequate feature.) Furthermore, they draw insults and vulgar images by clearing the virtual grass. Being in the same area as a civil and nice user is equal to finding a needle in a haystack. a crap, how can a game for children be for over 16? how can there be moderators so stupid as to ban good users? I've seen users talking about pedophilia near a moderator and he hasn't done anything that motherfucker.... the game is beautiful, with a great look and lots of things to personalize your pony, but the rest is HORRIBLE. I wish there were good moderators and not that shit. and there is still a moderator who still has a channel on youtube, and to make matters worse is brazilian. he doesn't care about the other Brazilians and already said he wanted to punch them, and the donkeys of the Brazilians who play are still on his tail, I'm Brazilian too but I don't like that shit from TioRafaJP2...
