This company's service, in my experience, hides the identity of thousands of SPAMMERS. I, personally, have reported at least eighty SPAMMERs to them and not one single time have they taken action. They claim that they will take action on subsequent complaints but, even when I have supplied multiple instances of SPAM from a domain they protect over the course of a year or two, they take no action.
This company is clearly either unethical, ineffective, inefficient or just plain "in bed" with the criminal SPAMMERs.
Obviously protecting "the wrong side of the web" as commented earlier. Along with the other "whoisprotect" "services"...
Hébergement anonyme de nombreux sites d'envoi de spams. Rien n'est fait par cet hébergeur pour arrêter ces pratiques malgré de nombreux signalements.
Provides protection for scammers registering web sites
Приват регистрация доменов помогает разного рода мошенникам уйти от ответственности.
Подобная практика должна быть отменена в принципе.
Честным людям незачем скрываться за чьей-то спиной.
Huge hoster and protector of spam sites and other criminal activities.
Seriously folks, those posting positive are probably criminals themselves. If Walmart had a vendor who consistently provided bad service that hurt the reputation of the company, do you think Walmart would continue to do business with that vendor? Same in this case! There is no way that Directi and Privacyprotect not know that a vast majority of their customers are criminals. Majority of my blocks are from them. Plus when you contact and complain to Privacy protect they do absolutely nothing. Nada. Nunca. Zilch. sadly, that lets others further know of directi's and privacyprotect.org intentions. They don't care. Money is money to them and they don't care if their clients are breaking a host of international laws or being unwarranted. Just purely unethical and sad. For business owners, block, block, block! Don't even bother contacting them. They do not care. Trust me. Take legal action if if becomes a serious violation. You can review the Can-Spam act and depedning on your state, check your laws. Contact your states Attorney General's office of consumer affairs. If you use a free email service, contact yhour domain. A simple google search will provide regional or corporate office information. Good customer service and respect will go a long way in today's society. That is all we ask!
In my opinion many who have rated and/or commented on this website have made a mistake, not followed MyWOT policy, nor adhered to the guidelines! Why do I state this so blatantly? Privacy Protect is a business that "insulates" website owners from casual (probably unrelated to business) annoyance type emails of no import!

I am a developer and have dealt with this site on more then 5 occasions. They are rude, unhelpful, and protect cyber criminals from legal process. If you need to hide your identity you should not be going into the type of business you going into.
