Is prosoft.de Safe?

This is a FALSE POSITIVE. 13 of 43 virus scanner are not able to scan the files spec32.exe correctly because this file is part of a security solution and therefore is encrypted and protected by Armadillo. spec32 = *S*afend *P*rotector *E*mergency *C*leanup Tool v3.2 Armadillo = "A powerful software protection system. It wraps around your program like an armored shell, defending your work from pirates and program crackers with state-of-the-art encryption, data compression, and other security features." If this were indeed a virus / malware / trojan - this result would also mean that 30 (!!) virus scanners do not scan correctly - and this for years! And we are talking about global players like TrendMicro, Avast, F-Prot, Kaspersky, Microsoft ... We have scanned this file many times by ourself (TrendMicro) and have also ordered our ISP to scan the complete homepage (Clam-AV). In both cases: no virus / malware / trojan was found. Because this file is already outdated (from 2007) and is not in heavy use anymore by our customers we have removed the file from the ZIP archive to end the false reports. Hope this explanation helps.
