These scammers tell you on the back of what appears to be a bill that they you aren't paying for the magazine. They even state that they might buy a different magazine than the one they sent you what appears to be a bill for. Doing business with these clowns is just helping rotten people.

The Washington Post actually had an ad in their newspaper warning subscribers about this scam. A week later I got the fake invoice pointing me to this website. Isn't this mail fraud?

Scammers. They send a renewal notice with a jacked up rate. Don't know if they actually provide the renewal. It looks legitimate. Their price was $77.91 for a one year renewal. Received the "real" renewal request from the "real" publisher a few days later. "Real" renewal price was $20.97.

Thanks for your comment udzord, I now am pretty sure this is a scam, I had been receiving and paying for these renewal notices every couple of months :( . I reported it to a company who looks into these matters. I feel horrible about giving away cash when its not even a legit company.

This domain is associated with GPS "Global Publication Service. They scam people by sending bills for their magazine subscriptions like Time Magazine for instance. (How they get this info I am not sure.) The try to get you to re-up your subscription way early and at greatly overpriced rates. One year is ***** Time only charges $30 per year. I guess some make the mistake of thinking it is a bill from their favorite magazine. I am not sure how someone takes any pride in being a leach on society .. but here you are - publisherspayment.com and ***** -- gutless creeps!!! "
