This site is not spam or malware. It's just a survey company. You can actually opt out of tracking or invites here: *****

It is easy to opt out if you don't want to be bothered with any survey invites.

I have to scratch my head about sites that have very low ratings, yet are APPROVED by TRUST-e and *****. What THAT is telling me is that neither TRUST-e or safecount.net opinions of any given domain mean anything. And certainly they don't mean anything WE can rely on. Seems that those places that are supposed to monitor things, warn us of bad places online and maybe even offer us some protections, are - at least part of the time - wolves in sheep's clothing, protecting the attackers instead of the attacked. I totally disregard those comments by people who claim a site is bad for tracking usage - that is both common and often beneficial thing for us who browse. It all depends on what info they gather and HOW they use it. I have a total distrust of ALL social media - my distrust has proven out when so many people have been infected, hacked, etc. in those places. People who use things like facebook are almost ASKING to be abused online. I never use them, so a tracking site that facilitates them is one I reject, unless it facilitates my usage of something I trust and want. People think they can diss a site and get people to fear it, because it is a tracking site. This is done by the very ignorant or by trolls or by people who compete with the site being dissed. Public input on the honor of sites is extremely helpful and important, but it can, like anything that is good, be despoiled by people who just like to break things. But THIS site is rather widely distrusted, and hpHosts even denounces it as a phishing site, yet it is approved by TRUST-e and safecount.net. What is wrong with this picture?

I work at Safecount which is the owner of the questionmarket.com domain and can assure users that we are not spyware or adware and are not a phishing company. We do track ad exposure and invite site visitors to surveys and strictly adhere to privacy standards. In fact, we are TrustE approved and fully allow opt out of our tracking. Please see ***** for more info or search for ***** on WOT.

I would have known about the background popups, but I just installed a second monitor and saw all the pop-ups that questionmarket made to appear offscreen to generate ad revenue. In other words, you don't even see the advertisement unless you happen to extend your computer's desktop area. You probably just notice the performance lag because they've opened 80 popup windows in the background. Nice work you ******* pieces of **** at questionmarket.

Tracking service that attacks via the XSS flaw inherent in HTML coding. If you are using IE, then this script can run at any time without need of your permission. What's more is that this tracking device can give the information to anyone, since it has no regulation in how it is handled. If you don't have it already, then I would advise obtaining a NoScript compatible browser so that such attacks on your privacy cannot happen (Firefox is the one I've used and, ever since several months ago, not a single breach in my system security has occurred [I've checked the system on once-every-two-day basis and have found no system intruders!]. This site is currently marked as untrusted in NoScript, therefore preventing the service from ever loading, even if the services on pages are allowed to run globally!
