Rapid Media is a publisher of outdoor magazines. Whatever in the past triggered the poor ratings does not seem relevant.

Who are the idiots giving this company a crap score. Since I Kayak and have subscribed to them on Zinio for 2 years and never had a problem. I really am beginning to wonder if it is worth it to use this WOT! I have come across numerous sites that have low scores and they are completely legitimate sites. I wonder if WOT checks all these sites because I cannot figure out how they are coming up with this rating Cr*p.

rapidmedia.com was spammed like crazy on June 18, 2011 The registrar is ENOM, but when informed of their problem, you get the tired old fob-off - "we are only the registrar - complain to the hosting ISP." as if that exonerated them from assisting criminals.. You can see many samples like this at the ENOM spammed domains blacklist published publicly at ***** - when you compare ENOM with other registrars they show the worst record for support of high volume spamming. Loading rapidmedia.com you see a harmless looking news feed site. That's part of the scam. But when spammed they contain a longer URL to reveal the actual target site. What reputable merchant obscures their true operation? You can see examples well documented at ***** ENOM is sponsoring this illegal spamming domain operation, and accepts payments for the unlawful domain name registrations. Wher Go Daddy shows corporate responsibility, ENOM shows corporate irresponsibility. And toothless ICANN accredits them, while pocketing the accreditation fees. Do you smell the stench of corruption?

This site contains well written articles about kayaking, fishing, canoeing and non-motorized boating. There is nothing unsafe for kids and nothing unsavory for adults. On the contrary it promotes safe ethical out door and on-the-water activities.

There is no way that this website should have a less-than-stellar rating. It is a magazine, not a spamming website. Child safety is low? Are you kidding? Scott has many articles about getting your kids into the outdoors. It sounds like the poor raters have an axe to grind, although I have no idea why. The staff at Rapid Media are nothing but stellar.
