Is rci.com Safe?

I like using RCI to exchange my time share and I have not had a problem with the web site. HOWEVER, RCI must be selling their customer list. I have been inundated with phone calls from people or companies I do not know. They tell me they are going to help me with my time share expenses. If I say I do not have a time share, I am told I am a member of RCI. How would they know that unless RCI told them. RCI is showing that they do not care about their customers. I have marked them way down on 'privacy'. FOLLOW UP - RCI responded to my complaint with a semi-boiler plate response. In part it says "RCI treats its members’ non-public information in a manner consistent with our privacy policy. We do not sell or rent such member information." So I guess the question is what do they consider "non-public information." Is my name, address, phone number public or non-public? I think they consider it public.
