Is readersdigest.com Safe?

This is an official domain of "Reader's Digest". The company's sites are technically safe for your computer, and its articles are mainstream, inoffensive, often heartfelt or useful, and just as often pablum. Reasons I don't like this company: 1. Once they get contact info for you and your designated gift subscription recipients, they will never stop wasting paper spamming you by post mail to buy more. 2. No matter how many times they promise to stop said spamming, it will continue. 3. Seniors and others who don't read the subscription terms carefully may be fooled into buying additional unwanted subscriptions that they cannot terminate. 4. Once purchased, subscriptions may be delayed for months, in spite of repeated promises to rectify.

Spammed me, the ONLY way this could have happened is if they buy email addresses of someone or scrounge email address off web sites. There is less than ZERO change I would ever have anything to do with Reader Digest, they were a big enough pain in the A$$ when they post out via snail mail, now they have resorted to spamming my email account. An official spam complaint has been lodged.
