A supposed anti-piracy outfit that apparently harrassed innocent users with automated phone calls, which is a violation of the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act. ... using criminal methods to get someone else to pay for protection used to be called "Racketeering", right?

This,Americn based, company is a legitiimate copyright infringement enforcement company. However, they have been accused of sending out emails to file sharers who are then asked to click on a link to settle an infringment claim, by way of a fine. It has been claimed that clicking on such links consequently downloads a trojan on to the system on which the link is clicked. This site should be viewed with caution. ESPECIALLY if you use torrents or share files via some other route that might infringe copyright. I reviewed the site, using no script, to prevent the running of scripts on my system. I also used a VPN to hide my location (Just in case). Whilst I found no direct evidence of trojans on the site, I did not click on any links and did not receive the relevant email pointing me to the site. Without that link, it might not be possible to verify claims of a trojan or not.

This company is a copyright enforcement company that has clients like Warner Bros. Despite their seemingly "good" intention of fighting copyright infringement, the methods they use to do so have already been proven to be inadequate and unreliable, and can easily be manipulated. For example: courts have ruled that single IP addresses do not represent individuals, and identifying these IPs do not take into account many factors (such as an unknown client on the users network). They track alleged infringers online through various filesharing networks like FTP and BitTorrent and then send them notices demanding money for settlement, or face a hefty lawsuit. This is not unlike the extortion tactics the RIAA used in the early to mid 2000s. When will these people realize that intimidating your consumers just doesn't work.
