Is roadrunner.com Safe?

More often than not, their website is down for maintenance or certain features do not work with all browsers. Website is clunky and difficult to read. Key features are hidden well within the website. No mobile version of the website is offered and it is very mobile browser unfriendly.

Within an hour of my previous comments re: this web site my Internet Connection was no more. After nearly 2 hours of dealing with very polite tech operators it was discovered that my modem wasn't working correctly. The culprit, a modem that was used (by me) some 2+ years ago was turned on (today). Once the existing modem information was re-input to the system everything began to run sweel, again. Go figure... Could they permanently remove the old modem? That's what they said they did last time this problem occurred, i guess someone made a mistake and forgot to actually remove it from the account. When Fiber Optics come to my home I intend to install the fastest link possible, and do internet, cable, and phone with that company; until then I'm not interested in any old technology sold as new. The next stop is city council to attempt to get their contract reviewed, then off to the lawyer to start litigation. Ain't life just a great big bowl of cherries... Thanks, Tom
