Is santander-products.co.uk Safe?

misleading advertisement led me to this website. you get 5% for only £2500 and 0.1% for the rest. all that provided you deposited £1000 per month for 12 months. if you fulfill the conditions set by santander, then the AER will not be 5% but much lower. £2500 initial + £11000 monthly deposits, and you will get interest of £126.10 which is just 0.93% AER. meanwhile, inflation is about 3%. so you actually lose money when you save here. furthermore, the account behaves like a fixed long term deposit account, but gives you current account interest. i call this fraudulent false advertisement.
