Great books at good prices for students and teachers!

As a teacher, I used this site on a regular basis and it is full of good info. I never had a problem with the site as it is the official site of Scholastic which everyone knows from school.

From my experience, this is a good, kid-friendly site. No real complaints. Someone else in comments suggested that they're selling your email address to third parties - not sure if this is true or not, but worth looking further into. "

Excellent website for educational/entertainment and purchasing of goods. Only receive emails/advertisements for Scholastic once order is placed.

They WILL sell your email address. They do mention this in a non-obvious way in their privacy policies. I used my personal email address I've had for YEARS that I've never used for online purposes since I thought they would NEVER do this...Guess what? I am getting SPAM. Nice. REALLY nice. Guess even a "reputable" company does less-than-ethical things. I would rather pay BIGGER bucks with a large book chain than give business to a place like this.
