Don't waste your time and money. At any point in time, *after* you've given them your money, they could just mark your account as fraudulent and prevent you from accessing it. If you've paid them through something that doesn't offer some form of buyer protection, good luck in chasing that refund. Their service is pretty poor and the reps are ineffectual beyond "we'll follow it up" and "we're looking into it". They would rather have customers chase them after information and feedback as opposed to keeping them in the loop.

The service became slow and unreliable. They blame the new site which is not working as expected, but I have an impression that the whole thing went south. It took for them six weeks to answer my question to support, and it was just a formal response with no name or signature.

Big time scammers. Never had a problem with my first test ship. Second shipment was bigger and more expensive. They put my account on hold after I use paypal to fund the account as my paypal account name differ slightly. Never had this issue with the first shipment. Anyway they lifted the hold after I explain why it is different. Happen again when I need to put in more money. Was assured by their staff that it is not an issue. They lifted my pending again. But when the time came to shipping the items, they flat out refused to send out the package. Gave them passport and drivers license copies and sign their forms to try to sort out this issue and call all them countless times but to no avail. Told them their staff had previously send me emails saying the name will not be an issue. Bloody hell, they lift the pending not once but twice. That's the reason I kept funding the account. If I had a whiff of trouble ahead, I would have redirected my shipment pronto. Phone call alone to sort out this issue with shipito cost me 30 bucks. At the end I had to get the seller to pick up the item. But that is not the worst. Worst thing is, they charge me 8.50 for each package that they hand back to the seller. Ridiculous. The fault did not even begin with me when it is their staff that had been giving out incorrent information from the start. They should have left the account on pending if it was such a big issue. I would have stop funding immediately and redirected my stuff somewhere else. But oh no, they waited till everything is at their warehouse and you are at their mercy. They apologies a lot but still would not bulge an inch. I do not expect much but at least an offer not to charge the 8.50. It's bad enough not to receive the product you paid for but to be charged the return fees is downright disgusting. So at the end of the day, 80+ bucks in my shipito account got sucked up by the return fees and the initial processing fee and repacking fee. So thinking of using shipito for your shipment, well u better think twice. I rather deal with a shipper with more integrity than this. So shipito - not only have you lost a customer but this customer is so unhappy about your utter contempt of him that he wrote a review about it and will try his best to spread it out everywhere.

Interessante Dienstleistung. Jedoch sind "Sonderwünsche" meist zu kompliziert. Habe drei Pakete hinliefern lassen. WTF?

I don't trust this service! Why? Because they spam the forum with their so-called customers experiences, so I think if they pay people to make this silly kind of advertisement, they must want to hide us something... Pourquoi? Parce qu'ils spamment les forums avec de faux témoignages de soi-disant clients, s'ils payent des gens pour faire une pub aussi crétine, je me dis qu'ils cachent peut-être quelquechose... Proof (in French): ***** ***** *****

I got scared after I registered and sent my new Kindle to Shipito before checking the WOT and other ratings for the site. They did ask me to send in a picture of two of my IDs and a copy of an internet bill. After this they didn't require anything else though and they even sent the package to my non-billing address in Canada. Everything went fast and smoothly and I don't think that they charged too much, even though there are cheaper choices like VIAddress. I chose Shipito based on the fact that they had a warehouse in Oregon, which meant no sales tax. Overall, I'm happy with Shipito!

Scam site. Don't use, you will never receive your packages. You were warned. Read the other reviews.

Oh my god. Why the hell i didn't check the MYWOT before i get stuck like "consumer101". The exact same thing happened to me. I have sent more than 200 USD to them. And they refuse to send my parcel and not refunding my money as well. I need some more people to file a scam report to authorities in USA. Please email me anyone who had the same experience. We can all file together, so the authorities will take earlier actions against this FRAUD company. Thanks.

Nightmarish experience with this mail-forwarding company shipito.com. I just feel the duty to spare others from the same fate. I wouldn't trust this company again with my package nor with any personal information. They set arbitrary monthly spending limits as an excuse to hold your package. In order to get YOUR package mailed out to you, they force you to upload your IDs, utility bills, and to post them a notarized and signed 1583 USPS form (regardless whether or not you use USPS). You do have the option of wiring them cash, but then you lose the consumer protection that comes with paypal and credit card. Think twice before you give them any personal details, beware of identity theft, as other mail forwarding companies don't ask for IDs from you. There are lots of hidden fees. For example, there is a "bank charge" of 4.3% that I wasn't aware of before I signed up. There is also an insurance fee on top of shipping--I always thought if I use DHL, for example, shipping includes insurance. There are daily storage fees when they're the one refusing to mail out your package, even after they have charged your credit card for shipping and fees. There is a $5 refund processing fee. If you signed up and paid $8.50, you will get $3.50 back if you want a refund. If you get the form notarized, there is a fee for that, usually at least $20 (though I would advise against sending them this). Oh, but they do "trash your package for free." Don't trust them with your package. If you can afford to forget about it and "trash it for free, " then go ahead. Just be aware of the possibility that once your package arrives at their warehouse, you will not see it again unless you do all of the following (which they call "completely verifying your account"): 1. 2 forms of IDs, recommended driver's license and passport (30%) 2. utility bills (30%) 3. form 1583 (notarized by public notary, needs to be sent by postal service, 40%) 4. form 1583 (signed by you, 10%) If I knew all of this from the beginning, I would never have signed up. They say they're protecting themselves against credit card fraud, but I don't see why bigger companies such as Amazon and Paypal never ask for IDs. And they don't say how they are protecting their customers' sensitive information. I had to "trash for free" my second package worth $30, wasn't worth giving them the notarized form 1583 by post that they requested. But as I had already given them my IDs and utility bills and signed form 1583 for my first package (before I was aware of possible identity theft and before I did research), I asked them to remove my personal information and close my account. They replied saying my account has been permanently closed and all my information removed from their system. However, I tried logging in again, and I found my account was just deactivated. They now say that my information must be kept on file for their records according to USPS policy, as they were authorized to be my USPS mailing agent. I never gave authority to be my agent, as I never mailed them the original notarized 1583 form. So who the heck authorized them. It wasn't me. So either they're making stuff up, or they have forged my signature.
