Is shopclues.com Safe?

Forms reset after a wrong entry (like bad password for registring a user).There is nothing called 'add to card', but there is a cart.Looks like the CTO is plane dumb. Must be one of those 'branded' guys who passed out from a big college.When ordering 10 items, the shipping cost will increase 10 folds.

They spam a lot, irrelevantly as I am not interested in their site or products. Never subscribed to them and they mail me daily about their site, which makes sure that I will never gonna use them in this life. I visited their website to see the contact details of marketing department to save myself. Poorly designed site where you can't scroll properly to see the details of the people listed there. I was wondering if the co-founder has worked in ebay etc then why they are following the standards of spam when people hate this approach. Will it really give a business in long term or they can't afford a advertisement space.

I have mixed opinions about Shopclues. It is one of the leading eCommerce site in India with large variety of products, often at street-side price. Most of the products require shipping charges. There is no lower limit of free shipping. It depends on the seller only. Quality of the product and seller has to be judged based on user comments. Shopclues do not run any QA to rate sellers and products. Their customer service is less responsive and is non-existent at times. Their refund/return activity is not prompt and transparent. Their website is currently not perfectly designed and so becomes less usable at times. They offer mobile apps. Android app is less buggy but there is often less communication between the app and the website. I do recommend the site for purchasing low priced products.
