Is shopperapproved.com Safe?

Unreliable: "Shopper-Approved", even with no shoppers at all. This looks like a way to simply purchase a good reputation without earning one. Some companies have actual ratings, but: - I saw no company ad banners with less than 4/5 stars; - high rating counts on many banners reflect zero actual ratings; - zero rating counts on some banners yield 5/5 stars anyway; - no counterweight offsets insufficient ratings such as 1. Fees are roughly $1 per rating, varying by package - compare this with legitimate free services. Some packages offer "syndication": spamvertising in multiple ad networks and social media. "Shopper-Approved" may have been created with good intentions, but its design invites abuse by bad businesses, thereby voiding its value to good businesses even if it was free.

I've had awful customer service with a company, so I tried to leave a review through this site. When I clicked on the link, I was brought to: www.shopperapproved.com/reviews/conferenceroomsystems.com. There was nothing on that page to actually rate it yourself, so I clicked on "Write a Review" to do just that. It then sent me to a page saying "Thank You for Your Feedback. Your review has been completed." This makes me even more mad. I feel this is an untrustworthy site that provides inflated, false reviews.

I don't understand why people willy-nilly mark sites such as these as bad. And I can't understand why the WOT team allows such rating to determine the site without consulting or doing their own research. WOT is a great tool but much need to be done.

I don't know... seems off to me. The user reviews seem odd, and I cannot see any sites with bad reviews. Nothing is clickable and nothing is verified. Seems like a rubbish site used for questionable online businesses to enhance their site by unethical means. If it's not ***** or some WELL KNOWN site, I'd advise to be leery of it's reviews. EDIT: Take a look at this site's cheesy testimonials page... http://www.shopperapproved.com/testimonials.php The first guy's video just screams "I'm bullshitting" to me. His avoidance of eye contact, the jump cuts in the video. Not legitimate at all. I'd say to be VERY leery of reviews provided by this site, something seems very off.

The site is good, it is to review other sites such as ones you shop on, this site follows up on your shopping experiences to see how you would rate your experience shopping, can be good, to negative feedback on your shopping experience, selecting star ratings and your written info added about shopping where ever you have that this site is following up on. It is also a option you choose whether they email you regarding your shopping experience with the company you made your purchase. At The end of your purchase this is a feedback/review option that YOU choose to do or not! When you do select this option then complete (receiving an email following up as you chose to) your reviews, feedback, etc it is your choice what personal info you keep with the review, such as your name, state and such that will appear, you can change any of that & your Email is NOT used, not shown with your review of a company. Still Remember it is YOU deciding if you do any of this, you can choose to have this option at the end of your purchase, even if you chose to and receive the email following up like the site does, you can still chose not to follow up or you can do this. I have NOT received any spam, no malware, viruses etc like a few seem to believe along with spam?? where or how anyone got that idea and some other negative things said?? a mystery, However the site could not get your email address and other info unless you are giving it to them after shopping a site that this option comes up. This is my 5th time using this site where they even had my email prior, i have opted to do this, no spam, no malware, viruses etc from going to the site, not even any tracking cookies from being on their site to do my review, I have checked that!!

Shopper approved is a legitimate 3rd party ratings site, that add extreme value to anyone selling any product on the internet. There system allows for responding to customers which ultimately improves customer service. They also donate a percentage revenue to a teachers organization.
