Is shopping.indiatimes.com Safe?

I ordered 2 quantities of Bajaj Geyser Shakti Plus - 15L. worth Rs 5766 for each product. So total amount i paid is Rs Rs ***** But i received only 1 product today... Through BlueDart (BLUEDART / 69023202894) Here is the proof: 1) ***** 2)http://i40.tinypic.com/ofypy.jpg 3) ***** 4) ***** I had raised a case ID: ***** Its resolution time is Aug 12, 2013, but nobody had called me yet... I had send many mails to them & made lots of calls to there customer care department but they always ask me to wait for 24-48 hours & you will receive a call back... But nobody calls me yet....

The site is a fraud. Do not buy from here. There is no buyer protection. if you buy something from here, your card is deducted immediately but seller is free to send you either the same stuff, or different stuff or nothing at all. I once ordered a wrench set and after waiting for a week, I got a screwdriver set even though the site kept on saying that the product is available. On complaining, the support center rejected my complaint giving me the status of courier as delivered even though the product I got was not what I ordered and practically of half the price in market.

Even if you ordered something from their site due to cheaper price, they will not ship it to you. They will tell the product is out of stock even though their site shows it as In Stock. If you have any doubt about this ask/call them to confirm the stock. Their customer care doesn't have any knowledge about it. Also please don't order by judging the color of the product. They will ship whatever color they have even though some products have price difference depending upon the color. Ask their customer care about color and they will raise their hand. Better buy from ***** even though it will cost some more rupee but enjoy Buyer Protection.

I'm not too sure about how the others' experience was, but mine was just fantastic! I know all the best sites that offer perfumes on discount and yet Indiatimes beat them all in this particular case. Considering the massive discount I figured that they'd give me a leaky bottle or a horrible packaging without any bubblewrap, but the packing was wonderful, with those tiny little thermocoles filling the entire cardboard carton. The delivery was prompt, and even the courier they chose was less irritating than any I've encountered so far. I'm really grateful, considering all the things that could've gone wrong. After all, I did buy six bottles of perfume. I'll go check the others now, but the two I opened just now are just fine. :) Oh, a note to all online shoppers - choose the 'cash on delivery' option whenever you can. That way if something does go wrong with your order (and it inadvertently does, on every website) you won't be quite so angry or harrassed. :)
