Is singlesnet.com Safe?

I used this site from 2008 to 2011 and never had a problem. I got dates and had fun. The thing that gets me are all these people crying about it being a spam site. When you join a dating site you are going to get E-mails from the site.You will get message notifications and other notifications. If you don't want them all you have to do is set your preferences to that. So far I have seen no one say what kind of spam they got. Some say they encountered phishing. But no one has told what kind of phishing they encountered. The Russian bride scam is everywhere. Not just on Singles Net. Most every dating website you go to will have some type of scammers. But, That is all over the internet. If you can't spot the scammers you need to stay off of the dating sites all together. Don't blame Singles Net for you being a sucker. And, You shouldn't be allowed to post bad reviews just because you had no luck in getting a date. I think that is where most of these bad reviews are coming from. Also, Never had a problem with Singles Net charging me after I told them to stop. But then again, I do not give out my credit card #. That's asking for it with anyone. If you pay your light bill,gas,phone by credit card the same thing can happen. It's a known fact it has. I always paid in a check or money order. Get smart or get off the internet.

I don't know where these bad ratings come from. I've used SinglesNet off and on for years and never had a problem with spam or anything else. I even got a few dates from there. I think the ones who gave it a low rating are people who used the site and got shot down while using it and want to be assholes about it. In the two years i used it i never had any spam,fraud,scam or phishing attempts tried on me. Not once. Not once has my computer ever been infected on that site.
