This site appears to use a Chinese company for processing credit card charges - Shenzhen Suhuitong Network Technology Co.,Ltd. (Fashionpay) - which has a SSL certificate but there are consumer records linking this company to fraudulent charges.
There are other charges against Soundbox for not paying royalties to the artists sold on their site as well.
This vendor is untrustworthy, IMHO.

SoundsBox sells songs illegally and doesn't pay artists. I run a Creative Commons netlabel that releases music for free for non-commercial purposes, yet SoundsBox takes these songs and sells them on without giving any money back to the artist. This signifies that Soundsbox is clearly illegal and I wouldn't trust passing any credit details to them.

I love Soundbox.com. My family has been using it for some time now, very reliable and keeps getting better. No problem whatsoever, was surprised by the negative rating. Doesn't deserve it.

The negs are from the RIAA. They will lie, steal, cheat and perjure themselves to make a buck... .anything except compete. This site is great and a good value for your money.
