A community site made for hosting giveaways for Valve Corporation's gaming platform, Steam. It is not affiliated with Steam or Valve and uses the OpenID service. Some giveaways are scams that people create to get people to spend their allowance points on giveaways on a fake. It also hosts trades and has a big list of Steam games that are on sale. SteamGifts is a great website for your Steam gifting needs. It is free to use, provides anyone and everyone with a chance to win awesome games with no cost to the participant, and gives generous individuals and groups a method of safely gifting games in a randomized and user-friendly way. If you are looking to win some games, or give some away (or both!), check out SteamGifts! As of 5 December 2013, I have currently won two games for a total savings of $40.00 without having to put up a single game in return (though I do plan to!). EDIT: As of 17 September 2014, I have won 6 games and given away two. My above review is still largely valid, though I have had some issues with the support not really helping me with my problem when winning one of the giveaways (I never received my gift and they did nothing about it). The website is overall very good, though I have grown more fond of the newer SteamCompanion, of which I am a moderator. Nevertheless, the website is safe and a great way to give away games, albeit the system is a bit outdated and the support team isn't that helpful. I still recommend SteamGifts, though (naturally) I prefer SteamCompanion.
