At the next computer start, this software got started, displaying advertisement, and also opening a non-standard web browser. They announced more advertisement because I was using their free service. Yes, I agree, obviously I forgot to turn off their optional software while installing FileZilla. However, I take the right to rate EVERY software as trash, spam, adware, that gets installed while installing a completely different software. I will never trust a software that takes advantage from a user not paying attention while installing some freeware package. Also, I doubt that this software should be in the hands of children - as I understand it makes web pages accessable that would normally be not accessable because of country laws. So child safety is pool, and it is potentially illegal. Conclusion: HAND OFF ----- Ich habe mir diesen Schrott bei der Installation von Filezilla eingefangen. Nach dem nächsten Start hat sich diese Software aufgedrängt, einen Nicht-Standard-Browser mit ihrer eigenen Webseite geöffnet, und Werbung angekündigt, weil ich nicht den kostenpflichtigen Service gebucht habe. Ja, wahrscheinlich habe ich vergessen, bei der Installation von Filezilla irgendeinen Haken abzuwählen. Aber JEDE Software, die es nötig hat, sich nebenbei installieren zu lassen, und die dann derartig aufdringlich ist, wird von mir hier massiv abgewertet werden! Diese Praxis muss endlich gestoppt werden. Wie soll ich einer Software vertrauen, die die Unachtsamkeiten des Anwenders ausnutzt, ums sich zu installieren...? Auch in Kinderhänden hat diese Software nichts verloren, denn sie dient ja offensichtlich dazu, Inhalte, die in Deutschland gesperrt sind, verfügbar zu machen. Fazit: FINGER WEG!
