I own ***** and two of my customers wrote a bad review of my site and posted it on store *****. I corrected the problem with my customer and refunded the money they spent. Then a month later I found the negative reviews they posted. So I contacted them to ask them to take down the negative reviews. They agreed to take down the negative reviews, but after trying they received no response from store reviews.com. They could not figure out how to take down the negative reviews. I from store reviews.com site was able to send a message, I received a automatic response that I would hear from them in 24 hours. I have not heard from them after 1 months time. I reported this to BBB and they suggested FTC. I reported this to FTC and they said they could not do anything. I messaged them on their FB page and have not gotten a reply. I just want them to take down the negative reviews that the customer agreed to do. I am getting no response from store reviews.com.

Another blackmail based "reputation management" site. Do not provide any personal or financial data. Do not assume that any review is legitimate. Anybody, real or fictitious, can write a permanently stored review of your company, web site, etc. To be able to receive review posting alerts, delay review posting for 48 hours, post rebuttals, and email reviewers directly, you must pay $99 monthly. Since free blogs such as WordPress include RSS feeds for alerts, delayed postings, posting by either party, and a variety of contact methods, I do not see anything close to a $99 value on this web site. The advertising prompts you to "sign up to manage your store's reputation", which can give the impression that this company will intervene on your behalf; however, even with a subscription, it is solely your responsibility to ask negative reviewers to rewrite their reviews. That is also not worth $99 since customers who are any more than slightly irritated are unlikely to respond favorably if at all, and trolls are completely unmanageable. Because the owner of storereviews.com seems quite intelligent, I must assume that he is aware of these factors and seeks to capitalize both on your fear of a negaive reputation as well as the natural difficulties in repairing it. As a final point, he is correct in suggesting that, to you, your company's reputation is worth far more than $99 per month. However, to him it is merely one of many $99 contributions - potentially a large profit for token benefits. What about all the other "reputation management" sites? How many can you afford each month? If you run an ethical business, you won't need to manipulate its reputation. If you run a bad business, you have larger issues which "reputation management" cannot fix. Reference: *****

There seems to be this gang mentality here, lets all get together and bash StoreReviews. I really question the motives here, and I suspect those reading this thread will as well. I would like to point something out; by your own words, “If you run an ethical business, you won't need to manipulate its reputation”. So you guys are upset about how we are affecting “bad business”? You are trying to protect these “bad business” by exposing SR as a scam? At the same time you refer to consumers as “completely unmanageable” and “trolls”. Where I come from this is totally backwards! Think about this the next time you buy something online and you get ripped off, loose your money and receive nothing! Think about how important it is to protect the very store that now has your money and is laughing all the way to the bank! Oh, I forgot, that never happens because every online store is totally legit and upset customers are “unmanageable trolls”. I am done here, but please keep an eye on StoreReviews.com because we are quickly growing and plan to stick around for a long time! Ion Hatzithomas President & Consumer Advocate StoreReviews.com

HI all, StoreReviews Here... Just wanted to say, we take every possible measure to ensure that all of our reviews are legitimate! Someone mentioned that they could pay to have reviews removed, this is not true. Signing up with SR does NOT enable you to remove reviews posted by customers, however it does enable you to reply to the review. If you do get a bad review, you should contact YOUR customer and try to work things out as the customer can remove the review or even change the review to a positive one. Here is a suggestion. Instead of bashing SR, try providing YOUR customers with the best shopping and customer service experience possible, and encourage them to write a review on SR. That does not cost anything and it will help your business build positive reputation for free.
