Is storywrite.com Safe?

Even though it doesn't have as good Child Safety, this site is great for poets. I still give this site a good grade on the Child Safety because it's as good as it gets. Yes, there are some flaws in it, but it's still excellent. If you're into poetry or even writing in general, this is the site to go to. Whether you're new or a past author, you should let people see your work.

While it's true that this website does not contain bugs, viruses, et cetera - and that it is honest in its dealings with money - I do not believe it's entirely safe for children. Erotic content is posted, with merely a filter to prevent children from viewing that content - and children could lie about their age beforehand, or simply log out of their accounts and view said content. The website does not have warnings available to browsers unless they physically create an account and edit their settings to include a filter for all things marked 'adult' by the users of the site. Then again, users for the site don't actually have to mark things as 'adult', and the poor moderation means they'd probably get away with it for a fair amount of time. As a side note, privacy is poor, but acceptable - after their update to the site allowing those under 18 to hide their age, I am temporarily satisfied.
