Is sub-talk.net Safe?

I have had very positive experiences while on this web site. I come here to download subtitles for movies or TV series and the subtitles have always been of good quality with no malware included nor anything else to cause problems. I'm a disabled, senior citizen and have just been trying to learn how to watch some of these movies or TV series with added subtitles so that I can better enjoy the entertainment. Because I'm a relative newbie to subtitles and downloading movies, I'm often contacting the techs of the sites asking for info or help. I've received very courteous and kind help from this site, again without any unpleasant side effects. All it takes is for a site to host a controversial comment and suddenly the site is under attack from either offensive, bullying comments or reports of poor security risk. I suspect it was something such as that, one person feels snubbed, is offended by a response from a moderator or tech, upset by comments from other users - and in a blink of the eye, that person is able to rally a small army of "online friends" to put on an attack. I suggest any new users, be reasonably cautious, as you would be at any new site, and pay attention to the likelihood of any malware or such, but give this site a try if you are looking for good subtitles and the help required to use the subs. Then, accurately report your experiences so that more people will have information they need to make a decision.
