Sends fake Bing (Microsoft) Webmaster survey invitation email spam from a site hosted in Norway. The spam displays a Bing logo from an "India" site hosted in Texas whose owner has a Spanish name.
Very uncharacteristic of Microsoft. In addition, opening the spam killed my Internet connection.
Bad survey site.I completed 40% of one of their surveys and wasted 10 minutes before being screened out.
Je reçois des courriers indésirables de BVA,des questionnaires, des enquêtes. Je ne les ai jamais contacté personnellement.
Survey email regarding nothing that I specifically use, by someone I don't know. No opt-out, no unsubscribe, and no mention of why I am getting this email.
There's a whole bundle of joy here. Confirmit is simply an online survey tool used by many legitimate companies to gain insights into their customers or the customers of their clients. However, it appears that some unfortunate scammers have abused the site as a platform for a phishing scam. My personal experiences have been positive and as long as you exercise due diligence you will be perfectly fine. As it is expected with a survey site, there are potential privacy risks and online tracking.
Also received an unsolicited email to participate into research
They make money sending email. I call that commercial email.
No opt in, no clear way to opt out...
