I put in a large (over $200) order from this site on July 25th, before reading the other reviews about it. Wish I'd done that first. Apparently, the week I placed my order, everyone was out of the office and planned to be for a week, which was no problem. It was the fact that when business resumed, no one reached out to me about my order for another week. So that makes two weeks since I've placed the order. Finally, I reached out asking for updates (with COVID happening, I understood that business has been slowed for many people and shipping has been, as well, so I was as understanding and polite as possible.) The owner informed me of the estimated ship date and promised to send a free gift with the order to compensate for the wait. It took another week for my items to ship. Three weeks after my order, I got my package but inside was only two of the five items I ordered, and no free gift. There was a note that said some things hadn't arrived yet, so I waited some more. Almost two weeks later, I received another email notification of a shipped package from them. Five weeks after my order, I received my second package. Inside this one, was one more of the items I ordered. One. Another two and a half weeks, and another shipped notification. This box had one more of the ordered items in it but one was still missing. About a week after receiving the last box (it is now September in this timeline), I got an email asking me to leave a review since my order was completed. This confused me, because, as I said, one item (technically two since I ordered two of the same thing) was still missing. So I sent another follow up email expressing my confusion, which lead to an email that said "We know the item hasn't been sent, it's still on back order." That was on September 16th. It's now October first and I have not received a shipped notification or even a follow up email with an estimated shipping date and why it's taking so long, or an offer for a refund or replacement with a similar item (it's just two wooden practice swords, should be fairly easy to replace with something similar). Remember, I placed this order in July. It took all the way til September to get MOST, not even ALL, of my items. If I had known it would have been this much of a hassle, I would not have ordered or would have asked for a refund before things were shipped. I have tried to be understanding because of the pandemic, but I have ordered from many, many websites since March, a great many who are one person led small businesses, and have received ALL of my items in a timely manner with perfect communication all the way through. I myself run a small, one person business and have not been anywhere near as bad as this site. This isn't the fault of the pandemic, this is the fault of shoddy business work and staff that seemingly don't know what they're doing. The amount of product on their site would lead you to believe they're a well running weapons site, but they are not. I don't think their "inventory" should be as large as it is, given their inability to keep up with it. And I can't see that enough people are ordering from this site to lead to such insane backup times. I didn't even get into the quality of the swords and knives I bought. Some came with lose handles, some looked worn/used although they all came wrapped in plastic so I dunno how that would happen, and a lot just weren't the quality that was advertised. I would recommend looking elsewhere for swords, unless you want to wait three months for what you paid for. I guess it's my own fault ultimately for not finding reviews beforehand lol. ‍
