Brown was a known scam artist who prayed up people desperate for answers. She was a disgusting person.

Frankly anyone who believes this nonsense does so at their own risk, and the sums of money for the "service" are extraordinary. This isn't your $30 a reading nonsense, it is far more expensive. Sylvia Browne is now of course dead. This is the woman who stated that both Shawn Hornbeck and Amanda Berry would be found dead. Both were and are still alive, having been kidnapped and frequently molested for years by grotesque perverts before they were finally rescued. Her son is trading on his mother's name. His "predictions" are likely to be as accurate as his mother's! Caveat emptor!

I grew up in her "church" (read cult) and my mom had readings from her and none of them were true. The whole thing is a for profit scam. Almost everyone from her church, the ministers, long term patrons, and staff, had all left within the past few years. Once you questioned her, you were kicked out. It is a complete scam. Do not bother giving them any money, it is all bs.

"Sylvia Browne knows for certain she'll die at the age of 88." She passed away over ten years before that. It's sad that it took her death to prove her wrong.
3
She is preying on people's gullibility.

All people claiming to be psychics are frauds. This includes Sylvia Browne. Plenty of other people have already explained why Sylvia Browne is a fraud in the comments. She can't actually predict anything. From vague guesses, to pretending to talk to the dead, this woman is an outright liar! She is rich through the business of fraud, and should be arrested for scamming people out of their money.
6
This woman claims to have supernatural powers yet refuses to prove her ability. This is not the hallmark of somebody with real powers. She charges people to join the "inner circle" yet provides them with no real help. Any benefit provided is simply a placebo. From the Q&A on the front page: Q: Dear Sylvia, Is there anything I can do to prevent getting migraines? God Bless, Love you! A: Yes, stop ingesting dairy and wheat products. This woman is claiming to have the authority to give medical advice without any sort of license or training. This woman is not just a fraud, she is actively harming people.

while the site is safe to browse, sylvia browne is a scammer. don't visit her site.

I agree with with Meester, You are right. They are all fakes. Scientific evidence does not support any claims of psychics. Basically, they get right answers SOMETIMES because they are very vague in their answers and they give answers that often apply to everyone, like "you have a strong personality" or "you like to talk to people."
4
Huckster, fraud, and worst of all, parasite. Preys on the emotionally and mentally vulnerable.
5
What about Amanda Berry? Silvia Browne killed her mother.

It has been openly known for many years that this individual is a fraudulent scam artist preying on gullible people, often at their most vulnerable. A vulture and charlatan. It's amazing how someone can be charged with a felony for stealing something worth $1000 but Ms. Browne continues to steal tens of thousands year after year and is free to babble on talk shows.

I always watched Sylvia Browne on the "Montel Show" and read many of her books and don't see what's wrong with her website. Nobody has to pay or buy anything they don't want. Her website is fine.
5
Fraud, Scam, Callous content person. Never look around unless you are looking for things against her.
10
Psychics do not exist based on current scientific evidence. She has been known to have several incorrect readings.

Sylvia Browne is amazing and gifted. This site is perfectly safe.

Sylvia Browne is NOT a fraud. I have read all her books, which have given me tremendous comfort, and helped me through some very difficult times in my life. And, she is truly psychic. I have attended several of her lectures, and have had an opportunity to ask her questions myself. She told me things about my life she could not have known.

Sylvia Browne is scamming people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars each year. She is NOT a psychic. She is a fraud.
