THIS IS A SCAM. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. This product was dropped by Symantec in 2014. In 2014, Symantec announced end of life for Symantec pcAnywhere. This came about after hackers stole the source code in 2012. Symantec tried fixing security holes in the code and offered free upgrades. They finally abandoned the product in 2014.

Fake Norton phishing site, do not put info in.

Someone who said scam just doesn't like Norton products. Products that have been around for years.

Amazingly, I followed a link from ***** to this website. I have notified Amazon of this issue. One theory is that, this website may be a "dinosaur link" from Amazon's "reseller" sites. But I also think that at the least it's a "scam / phising" today. Notice the site owner uses a very old Norton branding icon, which even Norton itself no longer uses.

***** is the official website of "Norton by Symantec". ***** is an affiliate that willfully violates Norton's affiliate ToS and trademarks and cheats other affiliates. Norton product downloads are probably safe because this site redirects you to download from the legitimate Norton site.

This is a chat I had with a Norton rep: Welcome to Norton Support, my name is Marc. Please give me a minute to go through the information you have provided. Me: Hello Marc! Me: Going by the look of that site and by this thread: *****en/scorecard/symantec-norton.com?utm_source=addon&utm_content=popup, we are not sure what it is. Marc: Hello, Ken. As I've check on the records. It shows that this link: http://www.symantec-norton.com/Norton_Internet_Security_p127.aspx is a valid Norton website but the https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/symantec-norton.com?utm_source=addon&utm_content=popup is not a valid website of Norton. Me: Comforting to hear. WOT is a crowd browser tool that users can use to avoid unsavory sites based on opinions. Though it is not 100% accurate some of the time, but it helps. Norton may need to add a comment there as most users will avoid it based on the red button it is throwing up. Me: https://www.mywot.com/ Marc: I see, Is there be anything else that I may assist you with as of the moment? Me: No .. nothing. Thanks! Marc: You are very much welcome, Ken. So I guess it is OK though it will be good for someone to check it out again as others advised.

I suspect that the primary intention of this site is ad revenue. The site, if viewed through adblock, does not appear to have any malicious or fraudulent content. There is no purchase button and the only button that is close to a purchase button, takes you to official Symantec site.

Tries to imitate official Symantec site. NOT OFFICIAL SITE! - STAY AWAY.

Não é o Site oficial da Symantec

A fake website that claims to be the official Norton/Symantec website. This website is not affiliated with Norton nor Symantec. They will take your money and not delivery the products that were purchased. Scam.

Site is not a registered partner of Symantec as it claims. No telling what you are getting. You can check the registered partners list here: *****

Seems that this site just redirects to the official Symantec site...

Site falso. Se faz passar pelo site oficial da Symantec (Norton). Não faça compras nesse site, pois a página onde você fornece seus dados não é HTTPS e muito menos criptografada.
