This site technologyto.com is a legitimate site. Media Extractor linked to a FFmpeg open source codec community. It is a legitimate codec for Firefox add-ons. Who ever gave this site a low rating must not know what this site is about.

When add-ons update, they open up a new tab when you open Firefox. This is technically a tab-up so to say. Nothing is malicious about this site, as it is just information about updates on the Media Extractor Add-on. The only two trackers belong to Google Analytics and Google Adsense, which are relatively safe trackers for sites that use ads for revenue.
