You don't have to register to download any models. There are some ads, but only from Google and affiliated 3d models store. Additionally if you sign up you will see less ads per page.

the site itself offers some good quality 3d models to download but it is infested with ads and some of these are clearly malicious, as a download site it is very misleading to have ads featuring download buttons(probably for malware) that arer clearer and laregr than the true download buttons for the models. i have not been infected by the model files themselves but where some link into mediafire there are loads of spammy and probably infectious popups.
