This site belongs to Rupert Murdock's media empire and, as such, is a mixed source of news, gossip, pseudoscience, political disinformation and reflects a more mean-spirited discriminatory right-wing perspective in its editorial bias. The Australian is Rupert Murdoch's propaganda vehicle for the Australia's coal mining industry and the Liberal Party and the National Party. This newspaper openly champions paedophiles if they are also Catholic priests. The Australian is best summed up as being Australia's newspaper version of Fox News.

Very disappointing. Little objectivity, many articles seem to be written specifically for conservative right-wingers, the facts are superseded by ideology. The paper frequently ignores its own editorial guidelines regarding honesty and factual reporting.

The Australian's news site. It does what it says. However, using Ghostery in combination with NoScript (both are addons for Firefox) I did find a few trackers. Not much to worry about unless you are keen on privacy. @carol.moore113: Please considering changing your rating category to 'Other'. Just because a news site is tedious to read doesn't mean it is suspicious. It would become suspicious if spelling and grammar were very bad, like in certain phishing and scam mails.
